SEO consulting · 16 years in search

Be found in Google, and in the answers AI assistants give.

Sixteen years in search, spent on one question: why isn’t this site showing up where it should? I find out first — in Google’s index and in what ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini cite — then fix what the evidence points at.

Recent finding

Professional services, WordPress. A canonical tag pointed the site’s main service page at the wrong URL. It wasn’t in the theme, the global header, or the snippets list — it sat in a per-page metabox that standard checks don’t surface. Line-wrap damage had broken the URL mid-word. The page had been telling Google to index a URL that didn’t exist.

Where to start

The Kreametrix Audit

Every engagement starts here. A diagnostic pass over your site and your data, written up as findings with the evidence attached and ranked by what it costs you.

What it produces

  • A ranked list of findings, each with its evidence
  • A verdict in writing — including “nothing serious here”
  • A remediation scope you can hand to anyone

Scope

Scoped and priced per site — there is no standard page count and no standard fee. Turnaround: 72 hours.

Services

Nine services, four groups

Remediation follows the audit. It goes where the findings point, not where a retainer template says it should.

Advisory

Where the search opportunity actually is, and which of it is worth your budget.

Foundation

Crawling, indexation, rendering, and getting out from under a manual action.

Visibility

Being retrievable and quotable — by Google’s index and by assistants.

Local

Profiles, service areas, citations and review signals that hold up.

How I work

Diagnosis, then treatment

No discovery call that turns into a pitch. A scoped diagnostic, a written verdict, then a decision that stays yours.

01

Consultation

Free. You tell me the domain and what changed; I tell you whether an audit is warranted.

02

Audit

Scoped to your site. Checked against your data, not a checklist. Turnaround: 72 hours.

03

Remediation

Scoped from the findings. You can hand it to your developer or I can do the work.

04

Verification

We measure whether it worked against the same data, and I say so either way.

Case studies

What the findings look like in practice

Case studies are written with the client anonymous and the detail intact. The detail is the part worth reading.

Questions

What people ask before hiring me

What if the audit finds nothing serious?

Then you get that in writing. It happens, and it is worth knowing. I would rather tell you your site is fine than invent a problem to solve.

Who actually does the work?

I do the analysis, and I am the person you talk to about it — from the consultation through to verification. Nothing is handed to someone who wasn’t in your data.

Is AI search a different service?

It is one of the nine, but the audit looks at both together. The same crawling and rendering problems that keep Google out keep assistants out.

Do you work with my timezone?

Clients are in the US, UK and Australia. Written reporting does most of the communicating; calls are scheduled at civilised hours for both of us.
